Stanislaus County, California (November 10, 2023) – 64-year-old Daniel Trevarthen has been identified as the man who died in a Thursday morning pedestrian accident in .

The auto-pedestrian accident occurred around 6 a.m. in the southbound lane of near its intersection with Mono Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Initial findings of the CHP investigation indicate Trevarthen was walking across the roadway when he was hit by a white Chevrolet SUV traveling south.

Lifesaving measures were conducted on the man, but he died at the scene.
