Daniel Jennings Killed in Sacramento Car Crash on Franklin Boulevard near Sunmeadow Drive
Sacramento, CA.– The man who was killed in a suspected DUI crash in Sacramento early Monday morning has been identified as Daniel Lee Jennings, 54, of Sacramento, according to the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.
The wreck took place on Franklin Boulevard near Sunmeadow Drive at around 12:45 a.m. October 7.
Sacramento police said the collision was between an SUV and a sedan.
The driver of the sedan, identified as Jennings, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, Alvin Chand, 46, of Elk Grove, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Chand was then arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of murder and vehicular manslaughter.
The incident remains under investigation.
