Wendy Rosas Killed in Santa Ana 2-Vehicle Collision on McFadden Avenue

Santa Ana, California (August 23, 2021) – 21-year-old Wendy Rosas, of Westminster, has been identified as the driver who died following a two-vehicle collision Sunday morning in Santa Ana, according to a report by the police and the Orange County coroner’s office.
The fatal DUI crash took place at about 12:15 a.m. in the area of 4800 W. McFadden Avenue.
A Ford Edge driven by Rosas east on McFadden at a high rate of speed slammed into the back of an eastbound Toyota Sequoia on August 22.
Due to the impact, the Ford swerved onto the south sidewalk and crashed into a utility pole.

Wendy, who was allegedly driving under the influence, was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The Santa Ana Police Department said Wendy Rosas’s two passengers sustained injuries and were rushed to an area hospital for medication.
According to authorities, multiple alcohol containers were discovered inside the Ford, leading them to suspect the collision was caused by alcohol.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
