Christopher Morgan Hurt in Modesto Crash on Ellen Avenue
Modesto, California (July 4, 2023) – Christopher Morgan, 49, was hit and injured by a vehicle in Modesto on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Ellen Avenue and Chicago Avenue at around 7:15 p.m. July 3.
Authorities said Morgan was walking westbound across Allen Avenue when he was hit by an SUV that was making a turn from Chicago Avenue.
Morgan was taken to Doctors Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
