1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Interstate 580 near MacArthur Boulevard Off-Ramp
Oakland, California (June 30, 2023) – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened Thursday evening in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place at around 7:25 p.m. on westbound Interstate 580 just east of the MacArthur Boulevard off-ramp.
A blue Nissan Altima and a white Honda sedan were involved in the crash.
The Nissan was left blocking the roadway, perpendicular to the No.1 lane.
One person complained of pain to the arm and back. Paramedics responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the patient.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
