CHP officials say a truck crashed an SUV, adding that at least one person sustained major injuries in the crash
El Cajon, Calif. – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision near Interstate 8 in El Cajon Tuesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The incident was reported around 2:38 p.m. on Los Coches Road at eastbound 8 Freeway off-ramp.
According to the CHP, a white truck and a blue Jeep SUV were involved in the crash.
CHP officials said the truck ran into the SUV, adding that at least one person sustained major injuries in the crash.
An ambulance was requested to the scene for the injured party.
Tow trucks were also requested to the scene to clear the roadway.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
