CHP Investigating Deadly Rollover Crash in Fresno County

Fresno, California (September 26, 2023) – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a rollover accident at an intersection in Fresno County on Tuesday mid-morning.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly two-vehicle crash on West Dinuba and West avenues at around 11:03 a.m.

A Nissan Altima collided with a GMC pickup truck in unclear circumstances. The GMC ended up in an almond orchard after the collision. One of the vehicles came to rest on its roof.

One person, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, was declared dead at the scene.

One other party was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, according to a local news source.

The officers are investigating the circumstances of the wreck.
