A Chrysler was stopped for a red light at the intersection when it was rear-ended by a Scion

Chico, Calif. – One person was injured in a collision in Chico on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Highway 99 at Garner Lane just after 3 p.m.
The CHP said a Chrysler was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Garner Lane when it was rear-ended by a Scion.
The driver of the Scion was taken to a hospital with a leg injury.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
