Cassandra Holguin was hit and killed by a Union Pacific train in Delano in September

Delano, Calif. – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a train in September in Delano has been identified as Cassandra Regina Holguin, 27, of Corona, according to the Coroner’s Office.
The collision happened near High Street and Cecil Avenue at around 9:49 a.m. September 21.
Authorities said Holguin was reportedly hit by a Union Pacific train in the area.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No one on the train was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
