Casey Stephens Among 2 Killed in Watsonville Motorcycle Accident on Highway 152 near Carlton Road

Watsonville, California (August 10, 2021) – Casey Lea Stephens, 41, of Hollister, was among two people who were killed Saturday afternoon in a traffic collision in Watsonville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened at about 3:55 p.m. Saturday, August 7, on Highway 152, just east of Carlton Road.
The CHP said Timothy Chisholm, 43, of Hollister, was riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on Highway 152 when he drifted into the eastbound lanes to pass a vehicle.
For unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with an oncoming 2020 Ford F-550.
Fatal Hollister Motorcycle Accident
Stephens, who was a passenger in the motorcycle, was transported to Watsonville Community Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Chisholm was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford F-550, a 26-year-old Salinas man, was not injured in the accident. It is undetermined whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
Further details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
