Boy Dies, Man Hospitalized After Chandler Pedestrian Crash near Loop 101 and Ray Road
Chandler, Arizona – A child is dead, and a man seriously injured after a pedestrian accident that happened Saturday morning in Chandler, authorities said.
The accident was reported around 11 a.m. near Loop 101 and Ray Road.
Chandler firefighters responded to the area after receiving reports of the crash and found a child and a man with serious injuries.
The child, a 9-year-old boy, did not survive his injuries.
The man was transported to a trauma center for treatment.
A third pedestrian, a woman, was allegedly also involved in the accident but did not want medical help.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
