Bicyclist Killed in Sun City Crash Identified

Sun City, AZ. – The County Sheriff's Office identified 71-year-old Claudia Farkas as a bicyclist killed in a crash Saturday morning.

The crash happened at around 9:15 a.m. on November 11 near the intersection of 99th Avenu and Olive Avenue.

Farkas was cycling on the roadway when a vehicle struck him. The events surrounding the fatality were not immediately established.

The motorist behind the wheel stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

No additional information about the crash was provided.

An investigation is underway.
