Merced, CA. – A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Merced on Friday night, according to the Merced Police Department.
The incident took place on 23rd Street and Glen Avenue at about 9:15 p.m. December 13.
According to the report, a bicyclist was traveling westbound on 23rd Street when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a vehicle heading north on Glen Avenue.
The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
