Fresno, CA.- A bicyclist was injured in a traffic collision in Fresno on Monday evening, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The incident took place on Shaw Avenue near Sixth Street at about 7p.m. September 30.
The Fresno police said a man was riding a bicycle westbound on Shaw Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was hospitalized with major injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
