Pasadena, CA.- A bicycle rider suffered major injuries in a collision with a vehicle in Pasadena on Thursday morning, according to the Pasadena Police Department.
The incident took place on Fair Oaks Avenue and Peoria Street at about 5:34 a.m.
Police said a 66-year-old Pasadena man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a Ford truck driven by a 59-year-old Los Angeles man.
The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the truck was arrested for driving without a license.
The crash caused the closure of North Fair Oaks Avenue as authorities investigated the incident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
