At Least One Person Killed in Lost Hills Truck Accident on 5 Freeway near Twisselman
Lost Hills, California (July 5, 2023) – The authorities are investigating a deadly traffic collision involving three vehicles on Interstate 5 in Lost Hills Wednesday morning.
According to the CHP traffic incidents log, the accident happened at about 7:24 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Twisselman.
The vehicles involved in the crash were described as a white Dodge van, a white work truck, and a gray Silverado.
First responders found one person unconscious, and a medevac was requested.
Authorities say at least one person died in the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately provided.
The roadway was shut down to allow the helicopter to land.
No additional details regarding the incident have been provided.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office officers are at the scene investigating the fatal accident.
