Rider Injured in Aptos Bicycle Accident on Center Avenue near Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant
Aptos, California (August 16, 2021) – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Aptos, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 5:07 p.m. Friday, August 13, the CHP officers received a report about the crash in the 253 block of Center Avenue in front of Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant.
CHP said a gold Toyota 4Runner hit the bicyclist for undetermined reasons on Center Avenue.
Bicyclist Injured in Collision in Aptos
The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was treated at the crash site by emergency responders. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
Part of Center Avenue was closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
