A vehicle struck Vallebueno while biking in unclear circumstances.

San Carlos, CA. – 31-year-old Andrea Vallebueno of Palo Alto was identified as a female bicyclist fatally injured in a traffic collision on Highway 101 in San Carlos on Saturday morning.

According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, the mishap happened on State Route 101near Holly Street November 16.

A vehicle struck Vallebueno while biking in unclear circumstances.

Vallebueno was rushed to a nearby hospital with severe injuries, where she later died.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
