Police said a Manteca man was driving an Acura TLX eastbound on Yosemite Boulevard when he collided with Betancourt, who was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle

Modesto, CA.– Alex Betancourt, 31, of Oakdale, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision in Modesto on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Modesto Police Department.
The crash took place on Yosemite Boulevard and Kerr Avenue just before 1 p.m. July 30.
Police said a Manteca man was driving an Acura TLX eastbound on Yosemite Boulevard when he collided with Betancourt, who was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Betancourt was ejected from the motorcycle following the impact of the crash.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Authorities said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
