, California (August 25, 2023) – 70-year-old Agustina Cano-De Arambula has been identified as the woman who died in a collision involving a semi-truck on Wednesday night in .

The fatal crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Manning and Adams Avenues, east of the city of , according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 32-year-old man was driving a semi-truck hauling grapes in a vineyard and was making a left turn onto Manning Avenue when he drove into the path of a Honda CRV.

The big rig and the SUV collided head-on.

Arambula, a resident of San Joaquin, was riding in the SUV and was airlifted to the hospital where she died while receiving treatment.

The 72-year-old driver of the SUV was also hospitalized with major injuries.

The semi-truck driver was unhurt.

Authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as possible factors in the accident.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
