7 Hurt, 3 Critically in Phoenix Car Accident on Loop 202 Red Mountain near 24th Street
Phoenix, Arizona (June 28, 2023) – Authorities responded to a multi-vehicle collision that injured several Wednesday morning in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix fire officials, the incident was reported at around 9:30 a.m. on Loop 202 Red Mountain near 24th Street.
Authorities located six vehicles at the accident scene. The crash occurred when a truck rear-ended a car, and four other vehicles became involved in the chain-reaction crash.
The fire officials said seven people were injured in a car wreck.
Four people were treated at the location of the collision, and three men, ages 70, 35, and 24, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Several lanes were blocked for approximately an hour during the on-scene investigation.
Due to limited available information about the vehicle collision, an investigation is in progress.
