Man Killed in Antioch Car Accident on State Highway 4

Antioch, California (September 11, 2021) – A man from Tahoe was killed in a crash that occurred in Antioch on Friday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on State Highway 4, east of Hillcrest Avenue at around 1:38 p.m. September 10.
According to CHP, a white Infiniti G37 collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe on the westbound side of Highway 4.
The Chevrolet then lost control and slammed into a guardrail. It was then hit by a semi truck and a Toyota Corolla.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 56-year-old Tahoe man, died at the scene of the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
Alcohol or drugs were not believed to have played a role in the accident.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
