Phoenix, AZ. – Five people were injured in a car crash that occurred at an intersection in west Phoenix on Thursday morning.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. at 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
Two heavily damaged vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
Two people had to be pulled from the wreckage using special equipment and were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Two other adults and a six-year-old child were transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
