Yuma, AZ – A 46-year-old man was seriously injured following a Monday morning crash in Yuma.
The accident happened at around 8:44 a.m. in the 3700 block of Avenue 4 East, according to the Yuma Police Department.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the man was driving a southbound 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 on the street when a 2010 Peterbilt tractor-trailer with a full load of dirt, driven by a 57-year-old man pulled out in front of the Ram causing a collision.
The Ram driver sustained severe injuries and was transported to Onvida Health for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Impaired driving did not appear to be a factor in the collision.
More information about the wreck was not reported.
An investigation is ongoing.
