San Diego, CA. – Four people were injured after being struck by a car at a Starbucks in Escondido on Saturday morning.
The collision happened around 11:25 a.m. on Broadway near Lincoln Avenue, according to the Escondido Police Department.
A red Hyundai Sonata that had been parked in the parking lot reportedly crashed through the front of the store.
Two elderly customers were hospitalized with unknown injuries. Two other customers were treated at the scene and released.
The driver of the car was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
