Desert Center, CA.- Several people were injured in a crash involving a big rig on Tuesday afternoon in Desert Center, according to the CAL FIRE.
The incident took place on I-10 near Corn Springs Road at about 5:15 p.m. November 25.
According to the authorities, an SUV and a big rig collided in the westbound lanes I-10 under unclear circumstances.
Two people were airlifted to a hospital while two others were transported by ambulance.
The conditions of the hospitalized patients were not released.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
