Moreno Valley, CA. – Four people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Moreno Valley, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
The accident was reported around 4:55 p.m. at Fir Avenue and Morrison Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
The occupants of one of the cars were trapped inside, prompting firefighters to use heavy gear to free them.
Four people were taken to Riverside University Medical Center with moderate injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
