Oakland Vehicle Collison Injures At Least One Person Hurt on 880 Freeway and Hegenberger Road

Oakland, California (September 18, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle collision on 880 Freeway in Oakland Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 8:24 a.m. on the northbound 880 Freeway just south of Hegenberger.

A red Ford Fusion, a white BMW sedan, and a gray sedan were involved in the accident. However, reports did not state the manner in which the crash occurred.

The Ford sustained moderate front-end damage.

The police said at least one person suffered minor injuries.

More information regarding the collision was not available.

An investigation is underway.
