A Dodge Challenger was traveling southbound at a high speed when it drifted into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra
Sutter County, CA. – The Sutter County Coroner's Office has identified three people who died in a car crash near Tudor on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 99 near Tudor Road at around 11:40 p.m.
A Dodge Challenger occupied by five people was traveling southbound at a high speed when it drifted into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra occupied by two people.
43-year-old Juan Diego Soto Castro and 48-year-old Ricardo Joso Soto Castro, both of Yuba City, were riding in the Nissan and were killed in the collision.
Shane Loudermilk, 20, of Gridley, was driving the Dodge and was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say three occupants of Dodge were transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the collision were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
