Helendale, CA.- A crash between two vehicles sent three people to trauma centers with major injuries on Tuesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on Schooner Drive near Anchorage Lane at around 2:46 p.m. September 30.
According to the authorities, a blue 2018 Honda Civic was heading west on Schooner Drive when it lost control at a curve and collided with a parked white 2013 Nissan Pathfinder.
The Honda continued traveling across the front yard of a home and crashed into a wooden fence.
The three occupants of the Honda, two males and a female, were all flown to out-of-area trauma centers with critical injuries.
Authorities reported that speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
