According to WSP, a car was heading west on Highway 20 when it left the roadway and crashed into two trees and a barbed wire fence

Winthrop, WA.- Two women were injured in a single-vehicle accident northwest of Winthrop early Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened on Highway 20, at about 5:45 a.m. August 10.
According to WSP, a car was heading west on Highway 20 when it left the roadway and crashed into two trees and a barbed wire fence.
The woman driving the car and her female passenger were both transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The WSP reported that impairment is suspected to have played a role in the accident.
The crash remained under investigation.
