The WSP reported that a 45-year-old Deer Park man was driving a northbound on the highway when he drifted off the roadway, crossed a ditch, and crashed into a vehicle stopped at a stop sign on West Russel Lane

Spokane County, WA.- Two teens were injured in a car accident in Spokane County on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Highway 395 near West Russel Lane at around 7:30 p.m.
The WSP reported that a 45-year-old Deer Park man was driving a northbound on the highway when he drifted off the roadway, crossed a ditch, and crashed into a vehicle stopped at a stop sign on West Russel Lane.
The stopped was pushed by the impact of the crash and it collided with another northbound vehicle.
Two 17-year-olds riding in the second vehicle were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The 45-year-old driver fled the scene on foot but was arrested shortly after.
The WSP said impairment is suspected to have played a role in the crash and charges are pending.
