CHP reports that at least one person was killed in the accident
Los Angeles, CA. – At least two people were killed in a fiery car crash that happened early Friday morning near Palms in West Los Angeles.
The fatal collision happened on the northbound 405 Freeway near National Boulevard at around 2:12 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Toyota Prius reportedly collided with a truck on the freeway in unclear circumstances. The Prius burst into flames after the collision.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced a man and a woman dead.
The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
