The suspect lost control of the SUV and crashed into the central Fresno home
Fresno, CA. – Two women died after an SUV crashed into a home during a chase in central Fresno on Wednesday night.
According to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 10 p.m. at Cedar Avenue and Nevada Avenue.
Police reportedly attempted to make a traffic stop on an SUV, when the driver sped away and a pursuit started.
A short time later, the suspect lost control of the SUV and crashed into the central Fresno home.
Two women in the home were killed in the accident
The suspect, who was the only person in the car, fled the scene on foot but was later located and taken to hospital for treatment before being booked into jail.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
