Two People Hurt in Holtville Car Accident on State Route 98 near Bonds Corner Road
Imperial County, California (November 9, 2023) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision that happened Thursday morning in Holtville, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported around 9:21 a.m. on State Route 98, just west of Bonds Corner Road.
A gray Nissan Sentra and a black Toyota Sienna collided head-on for unknown reasons.
Imperial County firefighters and AMR responded to the scene.
One person in the Sentra sustained a fractured foot, and one person in the Sienna suffered a head injury. The patients were hospitalized in unknown condition.
Police officers are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
