Perris, CA.- Two people were injured in a car accident in Perris on Saturday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The incident took place on East Morgan Street and North Perris Boulevard at around 4:28 p.m.
The report said that two vehicles collided in the area and one person was trapped in one of the vehicles.
Firefighters extricated the trapped party using hydraulic tools.
One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries while another was transported with moderate injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
