Indio, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Thursday morning in Indio, the California Highway Patrol reported.

At least three vehicles were involved in the crash, blocking traffic lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the collision.
Two drivers were taken by ambulance to Desert Regional Medical Center with complaints of pain.
The cause and manner of the accident were not immediately determined.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
