Phoenix, AZ.- A vehicle hit and killed two people in Phoenix on Friday evening, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The accident took place on Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway near Elliot Road at about 6:30 p.m. December 13.
According to the, a father and his son were fueling their Chevrolet pickup on the shoulder of the roadway when they were hit by a Tesla.
The two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victims were only identified as a 77-year-old man and a man in his 40s.
The woman driving the Tesla remained at the scene after the crash.
No further details were released.
The accident is under investigation.
