The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place just before 4 p.m. at East Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Avenue near Laton.
Fresno County, CA. – Two drivers were hospitalized after a collision that happened Wednesday afternoon near an intersection in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place just before 4 p.m. at East Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Avenue near Laton.
A gray Dodge Ram and a gray Honda Civic were involved in the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene to help the motorists.
Paramedics said the crash resulted in major injuries. Both drivers were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
Authorities said both drivers were under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
