Michael Benson Arrested after Arroyo Grande Accident on Ash Street
Arroyo Grande, California (August 19, 2021) – A driver was arrested on DUI charges following a traffic accident that injured two children in Arroyo Grande on Tuesday night, according to authorities.
The crash was reported in the 1200 block of Ash Street on Tuesday, August 17.
Police said a vehicle collided with two cars in the area and overturned following the impact.
Michael Benson Arrested after Arroyo Grande DUI Crash
The driver of the overturned vehicle, identified as Michael Benson, 27, of Arroyo Grande, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
Two children were in Benson’s vehicle and suffered minor injuries.
No further details were released.
The crash is under investigation.
