Two Hospitalized After Sonoma County Crash at King Ridge and Tin Barn Roads

Sonoma County, California (September 19, 2023) – A driver and a passenger were hospitalized after their car collided with a fire engine Monday afternoon at an intersection near Cazadero in Sonoma County.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. at King Ridge Road and Tin Barn Road.
The report said a white Chevrolet Corvette collided with a fire engine at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
It was unclear if the fire engine was responding to an emergency or whether it had its lights and siren activated at the time of the crash.
The driver and a passenger in the Corvette were airlifted to the hospital, one with major injuries and the other with moderate injuries.
The report did not mention if any firefighter was injured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
