12-Year-Old Boy Killed in Tulare County Crash on Road 140 and Avenue 432

Tulare County, CA – A 12-year-old boy was killed in an ATV collision in Tulare County on Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place in the area of Road 140 and Avenue 432 near Orosi just before 7:30 p.m. May 31.

CHP said the boy was driving an ATV when he failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a GMC SUV heading east on Avenue 432.

Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on the boy but he died at the scene.

The woman driving the SUV was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.

The accident remained under investigation.
