Santa Clarita, CA. – A 12-year- old child was injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday afternoon in Santa Clarita.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, the incident happened in the 29200 block of Rio Lobo Way at around 3:17 p.m.
The police said a truck struck the child in the area for unknown reasons.
The victim was injured and was airlifted to Children's Hospital Los Angeles for treatment.
The name of the child was not released.
No more information about the mishap was available.
An investigation is ongoing.
