Santa Cruz, CA. – Authorities are investigating a major-injury crash that occurred in Santa Cruz on Saturday afternoon.
At around 12:14 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 152 near Red Hawk Place.
According to CHP's online logs, a motorcycle and another car were involved in the collision. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
The male rider was trapped underneath the vehicle and had to be extricated by the firefighters.
