Riverside, CA. – One person was severely hurt following a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning in Riverside, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 3:00 a.m. on Highway 60, east of Market Street.
Police said two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene to aid one male party severely injured in the accident. The patient was taken to the Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
One of the vehicles was blocking the HOV lane due to the collision.
The cars were towed away from the crash site.
