A passenger in the Toyota was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
Vallejo, CA. – One person was killed in a car crash that left three other people injured at an intersection in Vallejo on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:46 p.m. at the intersection of Ascot Parkway and Sterling Street.
A 2004 gray Toyota Solara was traveling north on Ascot Parkway when it crossed the center median for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a 2009 white Chevy Traverse heading south on Ascot.
The impact of the collision caused the Traverse to crash into a 1992 blue Nissan Sentra that was also traveling southbound on Ascot.
A passenger in the Toyota was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was not immediately identified pending notification of the next of kin family by the Solano County Sheriff/Coroner's Office.
The driver of the Toyota, the driver of the Traverse, and his juvenile passenger were treated at the scene and released.
