A man had to be extricated from a vehicle before being transported to the hospital in critical condition
Santa Maria, CA. – One person was killed in a wrong-way crash on Sunday morning in Santa Maria.
The fatal collision happened around 5:15 a.m. on Highway 101 near Betteravia Road, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Although the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined, there were reports of a wrong-way driver in the area prior to the collision.
A woman was killed in the accident.
