1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 74 near Rancho Carrillo Road in San Juan Capistrano
San Juan Capistrano, California (July 1, 2023) – At least one person died in a car crash that happened in San Juan Capistrano early Saturday morning.
The fatal crash happened on Highway 74 near Rancho Carrillo Road at around 2:16 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.
CHP says at least one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
