1 Killed in Head-On Collision at Blanco Road and Hitchcock Road in Salinas

Salinas, California (November 1, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a head-on collision that happened in Salinas on Tuesday night.

The fatal crash was reported at around 11:52 p.m. in the area of Blanco Road and Hitchcock Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two vehicles are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.

Authorities say one person was killed in the accident.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
