Mono City, CA. – At least one person was killed in a head-on collision that happened near Mono City in Mono County on Saturday morning.
The fatal collision happened around 10:22 a.m. on Highway 395 near Virginia Lakes Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Jeep and a box truck are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
CHP reports that at least one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
